Captin Phasma in The Force Awakens

Captain Phasma of the First Order

 

Captain Phasma is played by Gwendolyn Christie.  Gwen is best known for her role in Game o Thrones as the female Knight. She is a leader in the First Order troops into battle.  Captain Phasma is a female warrior that is believed to wield a light saber.

 

Captain Phasma's Gear

 

   Screen shot of captain phasma have reviled that she is training with a sward like prop during the production of episode 7.  Sense this is star wars and she is a know sward fighter, it omly makes sense that she wields a light saber. 

 

Her Role

 

   Captain Phasma is a high ranked soldier that carries a shotgun blaster.  She enjoys fighting on the battle field with her groups.   Her chrome armor and red cape make her stand out from normal storm troopers. 

 

"The only Female in the Galaxy"

 

   If your an old fan like me you may remember the old joke about female star wars characters. "Princess Leia is the only female in the galaxy". Well... Move over princess.  

 

   Captain Phasma is a powerful female presents that will identify with female fans.  She is played by an actor that has become center stage in "Game of Thrones".  I think Captain Phasma is a major player in the First Order army and a top villain in episode 7. 

 

Phasma Rumors

 

   Rumors suggest that Captain Phasma is going to be killed off in episode 8 in a dramatic build up to episode 9. But the character is still a major part of the story line. 

 

 

 

The Storm Trooper Makeover

 

   We have never seen a storm trooper like this and she is definitely making a fashion statement to her peers.  Her shiny armor shows feminine curves while her height and strength overwhelm.  I expect to see lots of twisted perverts obsessing over this character.  Let's not let the fact that she is a she distract from the powerful storyline.  Her gender and physique may be a distraction but she's not the first female warrior to Walk the stage. We have already seen her warrior performance.   Let's just try to respect the actor for her performance.  I expect to see a dynamite display of action and adventure from Captain Phasma.
