Han Solo in The Force Awakens

Return of the Han

As a child, Star Wars was my favorite Science Fiction story.  This says a lot.  With tough competition like Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Tron and more.  My teddy bear as a child was a fluffy wicket. Over the decades I have seen the brand grow.  Cartoons, Books, CGI and Episodes 1, 2 & 3.

Han Solo returns to the star wars big screen in The Force Awakens.  The Scene is set 30 years into the future.  Han has aged but is still a part of the rebel forces.  Han has several enemies across the galaxy and fighting along side the rebel alliance has made matters worse.

The Millennium Falcon

The the millennium falcon is coveted by many smugglers and collectors.  Han Looses the ship some how.  Exactly how is unknown at this time.  We will likely get closure to this story in later cartoons or anthology films.  In the sneak peek trailer their is an already famous scene where Han says to Chewbacca, "We're Home" , while standing aboard the Falcon.

Han Solo Spoilers

Han has seen better days.  The old crew has been separated and he spends his time in wondering the galaxy with Chewie.  Chewbacca owes Han a life debt and remains loyal.    Gangsters only know as "Ducain and the Irving Boys" want him dead and may be able to track Han to his favorite bar with ease.  Han Solo is just waiting around for the right time and reason to get back in the fight.

Harrison Ford has been know for comments about his dissatisfaction over Han's character performance.  He said he was happy to wear the custom for the last time.  But the cast and crew from The Force Awakens had a different story to tell about Harrison's attitude.

I'm excited.  I wish I was a kid again. But, sense I am not, I will have to enjoy this new film series with some little ones of my own.
